Job Title: Scientist I – Discovery Biology.

Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite).

Pay Rate: $43–$48/hour on W2.

Duration: 8 Months.

Key Responsibilities: Perform primary human T-cell isolation, culture, expansion, and non-viral engineering using electroporation or nucleofection. Execute multi-color flow cytometry (FACS) and analyze results using FlowJo. Conduct functional assays, including T-cell activation, cytotoxicity, cytokine profiling, and proliferation assays. Work with primary T cells, Jurkat cell lines, and candidate binders such as scFvs and VHHs. Maintain accurate experimental records in an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN).Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present data-driven updates during campaign meetings.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related life science field.2+ years of hands-on wet lab experience, preferably in an industry setting. Strong expertise in flow cytometry acquisition and data analysis. Experience with aseptic cell culture and primary T-cell isolation from PBMCs. Knowledge of functional immunology assays and cell-based screening techniques.
