Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary Busy allergy & asthma office in Frisco, Texas is seeking a qualified full-time Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) to join our team! The successful candidate will enthusiastically and efficiently assist our physicians/physician assistant to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Room patients, review history and ready them for examination* Perform procedures (diagnostic and therapeutic) based on orders received from physician or physician assistant* Injections (IM, SubQ, & ID)* Skin testing* Spirometry/Exhaled Nitric Oxide* Phone triage for patient care concerns* Communicate with internal and external clients* Assist with patient education
Qualifications:- Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant or comparable designation or experience; we are willing to train the right candidate!* Pleasant and professional phone and interpersonal skills* Upbeat attitude, adept at communicating with and making both pediatric and adult patients feel comfortable* Ability to multi-task procedures and patient care needs* Ability to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance (for storing office supplies and assisting patients)* Experience in allergy, asthma, biologics a plus!
