Location: Houston, TX 77008
Pay: $16.00 / hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMDescription of Duties:
Read work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or designated areas. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences (size, type, style, color, or product code).Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets/shelves, or convey orders to packing stations or shipping departments. Pull orders using handheld scanners and a pallet jack or forklift. Mark materials with identifying information and record amounts received or distributed according to procedures. Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards. Use a computer to enter records and maintain inventory records where applicable.
Requirements:
Experience operating handheld scanners and a pallet jack or forklift.
