APPLY NOWI am seeking an interim fully remote insurance accounting professional to support reinsurance accounting, statutory reporting, filings, and audits. This is a contract role (W2 or 1099), could be temp to hire and would remain remote.
Key Responsibilities:
Account for ceded reinsurance transactions, settlements, funds withheld arrangements, and accrualsEvaluate reinsurance contracts and determine appropriate accounting treatmentAssist with quarterly/annual statutory financial statements, state and NAIC filingsPrepare and review reporting schedules and exhibits using WingsSupport variance analysis and financial reportingCollect documentation and respond to interim and annual audit requests
