Rehab unit with floating as needed to other appropriate units based on facility need and RN scope Additional Needs: Call required depending on census

Job Requirements:- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
- Rehab nursing or med-surg experience strongly preferredBLS requiredACLS and PALS preferred
- Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent education
- Comfort working with standard nursing documentation and EMR systems
- Ability to adapt to floating assignments and changing patient needs
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to rehab patients in collaboration with therapy and interdisciplinary team members
- Assess patients, develop nursing care plans, and document interventions and outcomes
- Administer medications and perform patient tests within RN scope of practice
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Promote patient independence through education on conditions, medications, and self-care skills
- Support safe, high-quality care while adapting to floating assignments such as Swing, MedSurg, and Stepdown as needed
- Use clinical judgment to prioritize care, manage workflow, and respond to changing patient census
