Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating RoomBIDMC OR West is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week night shift assignment. OR West consists of 10 operating rooms and focuses on inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery, including a wide variety of complex surgical procedures.
Compensation:
$2,600/week gross, $612/week taxable, $17/hour W2 rate, $1,988/week non-taxable, $300 completion bonus paid on the last paycheck.

Required Qualifications:
NBSTSA certification required, NCCT is NOT accepted. Neuro experience required. Ortho Trauma experience required. Kidney Transplant experience required. Experience with scrub and/or circulating in multiple surgical specialties, including: General Surgery, Robotics, Transplants, Orthopedics, Neuro, Spine, ENT, GYN, Urology, Trauma, Organ Procurement. Schedule & Orientation: 3×12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours/week, no call requirements, 2 weekends/month. First week of orientation: 3×12-hour day shifts, Monday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM. Orientation is held weekly on Monday, barring holidays.
Important Requirements:
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted. All RTO must be submitted at the time of submission and is subject to approval. Candidates must provide interview availability at the time of submission. Candidates who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as permanent or per diem staff within the past 6 months are not eligible. Candidates must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months to be considered. ASAP start; approximately 4 weeks may be required for compliance. No floating required.
