Improveit Home Remodeling Photographer and Videographer Creator Improveit Home Remodeling is seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Photographer and Videographer Creator to support the execution of marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand and improve operational efficiency across the marketing department. We're growing into new markets, and we're looking for people who want to build something and see their work make a visible impact.
The Role:
We're hiring a Photographer and Videographer Creator to bring the Improveit brand to life through photography, video, and storytelling that shows real homeowners, real projects, and real results. You'll find and shoot compelling remodeling projects, edit them into content that performs across social, advertising, recruiting, and more, and help shape how Improveit shows up everywhere our audience sees us. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who's equally comfortable behind the camera, in the editing suite, and out in the field — someone who can run a project from concept to final cut without a lot of handholding.
Why You'll Love This Role:
Creative ownership — you're not just executing a shot list handed to you, you're finding the stories, shaping the concepts, and putting your name on the final product.
Variety, not just volume — one week you're filming a kitchen reveal, the next you're editing a recruiting spot or covering a live event.
Visible impact — your work is often the first thing customers and candidates see of Improveit, and people notice it.
Room to grow — as we expand into new markets, there's real room for this role, and the person in it, to grow.
What You'll Do:
CaptureScout completed projects and customer stories worth telling; coordinate with homeowners on permissions and scheduling.
Shoot professional photo and video on location — projects, people, culture, and customer experience.
Run interviews and direct homeowners, employees, and other talent to bring out authentic stories.
Build shot lists, storyboards, and creative concepts before you roll camera.
Travel to project sites and events across Improveit's markets.
Create & EditEdit and produce polished photo and video assets in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
Handle color correction, retouching, and audio editing.
Adapt content for social, digital advertising, commercials, recruiting, and internal comms — right format, right platform.
Keep raw footage, project files, and final assets organized and easy for the team to find.
Collaborate & OwnPartner with Marketing and Recruiting to turn creative work into campaigns that hit real business goals.
Spot chances to repurpose existing content across channels instead of starting from scratch.
Cover live events, including on-site social coverage and setup.
Run multiple projects at once, hit deadlines, and keep stakeholders in the loop.
Bring fresh ideas and trends that help Improveit stand out.
What You Bring:
A strong portfolio showing your photography and video work (see "To Apply" below).2+ years of professional experience in photography, videography, or media production.
Real proficiency in Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
Solid fundamentals in camera operation, lighting, composition, and audio.
Comfort directing and interviewing everyday people on camera, not just trained talent.
A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel to project sites and events.
Nice to Have:
Experience in home services, construction, or another field-based industry.
A track record of content that performed well on social or in paid ads.
Experience supporting recruiting or employer-brand content.
