RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a teacher assistant and a team of educators to provide career exploration through a project-based integrated approach.
Duties include:
- Collaborate with English and Social Studies teacher and local industry representatives to develop project-based, problem solving activities that align to the Common Core Learning Standards
- Develop students 21st Century skills in the context of exploration of the 16 national career clusters

Candidates must possess NYS Certification in any Career and Technical Education area. A complete list may be found at http://eservices.nysed.gov/teach/certhelp/CertRequirementHelp.doDual Certification in an academic area preferred.
Experience / Training in project-based learning preferred. Applicants with business, agriculture, manufacturing or skilled trades experience preferred.
Certification as a Career and Technical Education instructor is a prerequisite for an interview.
