We're looking for a seasoned enterprise account executive whose name already gets them into the room at the largest manufacturers and technician employers in the country: automotive OEMs, EV and battery makers, semiconductor fabs, aerospace, and heavy equipment. These are companies hiring thousands of frontline and technical workers a year, and they'll pay six figures for a better way to screen them. We're not asking you to guarantee a sale. Nobody can. We're asking you to open the right doors, be the credible person across the table, and turn first meetings into paid pilots and pilots into enterprise contracts. This is a hands-on selling role. You'll carry your own named accounts and close your own deals. The product is new. That's the opportunity: you won't inherit a quota or a book of business. You'll land the logos that define the category, and we'll pay you for every one. You'll work directly with our founders, and what you hear from customers goes straight to engineering to shape the roadmap.
Who We Are:
We're TAP (Training All People, tap3d.com), a venture-backed, mission-driven startup that built its name in industrial maintenance with simulation training. Now we're bringing AI into hiring. Our AI Interviewer is a voice-enabled, multimodal interview and skills assessment that evaluates whether a candidate can actually do technical work, at the volume a large employer needs. Fortune 500 semiconductor and manufacturing companies already use it. We give people access to careers they never thought they could reach, and we give employers a faster, better way to find the people who can do the job.
What You'll Be Doing:
Opening doors at the top: Use your relationships with CHROs, VPs of Talent Acquisition, plant and operations leaders, and workforce executives to get TAP in front of the right decision-makers at a named list of the largest industrial employers in the US.Landing paid pilots, then expanding them: Structure focused, paid pilots at one plant or one role family. Prove the value in time-to-hire, quality of hire, and early turnover. Then turn that proof into multi-site, enterprise-wide contracts.
Running complex enterprise deals: Work through procurement, legal, security and IT review, and multiple stakeholders across HR, operations, and the C-suite, without letting a deal stall.
Being the face of TAP in the room: Lead executive meetings and final presentations alongside the founders. You're a known commodity in this world, and your credibility is part of what customers are buying.
Owning your named accounts: Build and run a named-account plan for a curated list of enterprise targets, working alongside our regional field team.
Shaping the product and the playbook: Bring back what enterprise buyers need (integrations with applicant tracking systems, compliance, reporting, scale) and help define how TAP sells to the enterprise.
Forecasting you can trust: Clean CRM, honest forecasts, and a clear read on where every deal stands across a long cycle.•Travel: Expect 25–50% travel for executive meetings, plant visits, and industry events. These deals are won in person.
What Makes You a FitTrack record: 12+ years in enterprise sales, with a history of closing six- and seven-figure deals at Fortune 500 companies. You've carried a number and beaten it.
The rolodex: You have real, active relationships with HR, talent acquisition, and operations leaders at large manufacturers or technician employers. When you call, they take the meeting. In your interview, we'll ask you to walk us through the doors you can open for initial discussions.
Domain experience: Background in HR tech, talent assessment, staffing and workforce solutions, or industrial software and services sold to manufacturers. You know how enterprise hiring decisions actually get made.
Enterprise deal craft: You've run multi-stakeholder deals through procurement, legal, and security review, and you know how to set up a pilot that converts.
Builder mentality: You've been successful at big companies and want to build something from the ground up. Early-stage doesn't scare you. You'd rather land the logo that defines the category than protect an established book.
Credibility and judgment: Executives trust you because you tell them the truth. You won't burn a relationship to force a deal.
Location:
Anywhere in the US, near a major airport. Where your relationships are matters more than where you live. Compensation & PerksWe pay on logos, not only deal size. Early enterprise deals start as pilots, and we don't think you should wait two years to be paid well for landing a Fortune 500 name.
💰 Base Salary:
$100,000–$150,000🏆 Logo Bonus: A significant, uncapped cash bonus for every new enterprise logo, half at paid-pilot signing and half at annual conversion.
📈 Commission:
Uncapped, on top of base and logo bonus, on annual contract value and account expansion, with accelerators. This is where years two and three get very good as pilots grow into enterprise-wide deployments.🎯 On-Target Earnings: ~$225,000 - $325,000 in year one, with meaningful upside beyond that📊 Equity: A significant, founding-team-level stock option grant. You choose your own salary-to-equity mix, and each marquee logo earns additional grants.
🏥 Full Benefits:
Medical, FSA, and life insurance at no cost to you🏠 Unlimited PTO🚀 Growth: You'll be our first dedicated enterprise sales hire, building on the Fortune 500 customers our founders have already landed. As we build out enterprise sales, you'll have a clear path to lead it. Why This Role, Why NowThe largest industrial employers in the country are trying to hire tens of thousands of technicians and frontline workers, and most still screen them the same way they did twenty years ago. AI is changing that fast, and the companies that define how it's done in manufacturing are being chosen right now. You've spent a career earning the trust of the people who make those decisions. This is a chance to put that trust behind a product that matters, sit at the table with the founders, get paid for every door that turns into a logo, and own a real piece of what you build. If you can get the meeting, we want to talk to you.
