BARTENDER *Immediate openings - Harry's Savoy Grill*

Now Hiring Experienced Bartenders! At Harry's Savoy Grill, we are looking for experienced bartenders to join our team. Our position summary involves building bar clientele and providing professional, friendly service in accordance with our standards. You will be responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and operation of the bar to provide an experience that exceeds guest expectations. You will take drink orders from bar guests and from guests of wait staff, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes, mix ingredients for cocktails, serve beverages and food to bar guests, wash and sterilize glassware, prepare garnishes and mixers for drinks, take food orders from bar guests, and demonstrate a knowledge of the menu. You will also ring drink and food orders into the POS and process payments accurately. Responsibilities include maintaining proper and adequate set-up and breakdown of the bar on a daily basis, maintaining bar cleanliness, possessing a working knowledge of products and brands offered at the bar, understanding craft and culinary cocktails to create seasonal offerings, adhering to responsible alcohol service, greeting guests in a courteous and friendly manner, mixing, garnishing and presenting alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests of bar and dining rooms following standard recipes and according to standard pour control policy, taking food orders from bar guests, processing guests' beverage and food orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis, observing guests to ensure that they are satisfied with the beverage, food and service, slicing and pitting fruits or vegetables for garnishing drinks, washing and sterilizing glassware, performing general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards, assisting with monthly inventory, and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include previous bartending experience, preferably in a fast-paced upscale dining establishment with high food volume, strong food and beverage knowledge to include beer, wine and spirits and be familiar with standard drink recipes, ability to obtain a valid Delaware Alcohol & Tobacco Enforcement Alcohol Beverage Server Training Certification, being well-organized, outgoing and friendly, ability to work with a computer system for the purpose of ordering and processing payments, ability to remain stationary for long periods of time of up to eight (8) hours in length, ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds, willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, and being 21+ years old.
