Work Setting Experience Required: ER, Adult ICU, Med/Surg and ICU/Stepdown.
Respiratory Care Experience Required:
Airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, CPAP, vest therapy, meta-neb, PAP therapy, heated high-flow. EPIC experience is required. Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NC license and RRT credentials preferred.
Job Details: Ratios: 35-45 ppd.
Shift:
12 hour night shifts; 36 or 48 hours can be offered. Will accept 13 weeks. RTO: 7 days max for Aya auto offer. Call requirement: On call required as needed/workload dependent. Float requirement: No floating to other facilities, just within FMC. Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts within a 6-week timeframe. Patient diagnoses: Large respiratory care department practicing at the top of their license. Travelers would work med/surg and ICU step-down units, possibly in the ED. Adolescents to geriatrics. Special equipment: Servo I, Survo U, Hamilton T1, V60, night-time VPAP, we use Omni-labs and V30s. ABL90 ABG machine. Unit systems: EPIC experience required. Scheduling type: Per unit needs. Unit orientation: 7a - 7p, then 7p-7a for night shift; 7p-7a RTs will need a few days of 7a-7p for orientation.
