Role Description:
Conduct psychological and developmental evaluations for toddlers referred to the New York State Early Intervention Program. Administer and interpret standardized assessment tools, assess children's developmental functioning and social-emotional needs, and prepare accurate, comprehensive evaluation reports in compliance with NYS Early Intervention requirements. Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary evaluation teams to identify children's strengths and needs and support appropriate service recommendations.
Qualifications:
Valid New York State license to practice psychology.
Experience conducting psychological or developmental evaluations with infants, toddlers, and young children preferred.
Knowledge of standardized assessment tools and child development.
Strong clinical observation, report-writing, and documentation skills.
Familiarity with New York State Early Intervention Program requirements preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a family-centered approach.
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate with multidisciplinary evaluation teams.
