Compound Team Lead Deceuninck North America is seeking a Compound Team Lead for its Monroe, OH facility. In this role, the Compound Team Lead coordinates and leads the day-to-day activities in Compounding and Material Handling. Responsible for daily operation and execution in the Compound Department. Shift Crew 4 - 6:45pm - 7:00am (2-2-3 shift pattern)
Core Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe work environment by complying with all federal, state, local, and company regulations through safety audits and training.
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice Compound vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures, training program, and KPIs/metrics to aid and improve operational performance.
Supports Production growth and development of departmental talent at all levels.
Produce written reports and make presentations.
Work with the schedulers, production and TR to ensure that Compound needs are met.
Collaborates with, production and scheduling departments by tracking and managing daily inventories and placement of team members.
Department administrative task such as payroll, vacation, shift reporting, and performance appraisals.
Suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, termination, advancement, promotion, or other status changes of associates.
Daily operation and execution in the Compound Department covering, Mixer Schedules, Ribbon Blender schedules and daily Material Handling Needs.
Qualifications:- 3 years of experience in manufacturing plant; plastic extrusion or compounding highly desired
- Knowledge of government regulations including, OSHA, EPA, and DOTPrevious policy/procedure development
- Proficient in MS programs, particularly Excel and PPTComfortable with public speaking, developing training visuals
- Must be a self-starter and deadline oriented
- Organized, detail oriented, team player
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in U.S.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required
