This newly created position offers ownership of established client relationships, leadership of a small tax team, and direct access to the firm’s partners. The practice serves high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and privately held businesses across technology, professional services, and real estate. What You’ll Do:
Review individual, trust, S-corporation, and partnership tax returns prepared by the team.
Take ownership of established client relationships, serving as a primary contact throughout the engagement.
Lead client communication, manage deadlines, and coordinate the delivery of tax services.
Supervise, train, and develop a team of approximately four professionals, including senior accountants, staff, and an intern.
Research technical tax issues and advise clients on tax planning and compliance matters.
Work closely with the partners to transition review responsibilities and day-to-day client management.
Help strengthen team processes and support the continued growth of the tax practice.
What We’re Looking For:
Active CPA license required.
Public accounting tax experience at the Manager or Senior Manager level.
Strong individual and trust tax experience required.
Hands-on experience with S-Corp and partnership taxation.
Ability to manage client relationships independently, from initial communication through completion of the engagement.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience reviewing work, providing constructive feedback, and developing staff.
Interest in growing with the firm over the long term.
A background weighted toward individual and trust taxation, complemented by business tax experience, is particularly well suited to this role.
