Accounting Manager | Growth Opportunity to Controller

We're partnering with a well-established commercial and industrial construction company to identify an experienced Accounting Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role offers a clear path to Controller and the opportunity to work closely with the CFO in a growing organization.
What You'll Do:
Lead the monthly close process, including general ledger reconciliations and financial analysis.
Manage bank reconciliations and journal entries.
Oversee payroll reporting and compliance.
Supervise customer invoicing and Accounts Receivable.
Support process improvements and help strengthen the accounting function.
What We're Looking For:
4+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager, Controller, or Senior Bookkeeper.
Strong understanding of GAAP.Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
Experience with accounting software.
Construction or project-based accounting experience is a plus.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
