Trade Relations Manager

Primary Duties: Become the primary contact with the buyers at the major wholesalersMonitor Kesin product inventory at both the National Logistics Center (NLC) and forward distribution centers (FDC) at the major wholesalers dailyReview of product omission and out-of-stock reports from the wholesalersIdentify inventory issues (i.e. no stock, low stock, or overstock) at the NLC and FDC and work with the buyers to address and correctProvide weekly status reports of key product inventories at the wholesalersRespond to order inquiries from the wholesalers dailyGeneralWork with Sr. Director to identify issues/opportunities related to the wholesalersLearn duties/responsibilities of Wholesaler Manager on an as needed basisAttention to detailExcellent time management and ability to prioritize tasksInitiative and ability / desire to learnAdvanced Excel proficiency and ability to learn/utilize multiple systems, both internal and externalMiscellaneousAd Hoc assignments as necessaryMeetings / TravelAttend regional and national trade shows, as determined by Sr. DirectorMonthly calls with wholesalersProject a positive and professional image of Kesin Pharma and its productsTravel 5 - 10%Qualifications / RequirementsMinimum of five (5) years’ experience in trade relations; ten (10) years preferredDirect experience with at least two of the three major wholesalers (Cardinal, Cencora, and/or McKesson) Documented success in working with wholesalers in stocking and/or shifting product to distribution centers to meet customer demandUnderstanding of wholesaler DC networks, product setup, and order flowAbility to work with minimal supervision and achieve the required outcomesMinimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related fieldPosition LocationChicago, Illinois
