Join a growing U.S. biotechnology organization specializing in RNA medicine manufacturing. In this hands‑on, bench‑based role, you will execute the wet‑laboratory science for the program under the Head of RNA Bio‑foundry, while providing specialist leadership in RNA purification and in developing the analytical release strategy that determines whether each batch can be released.
Responsibilities:
Execute the wet‑laboratory science of the program at the bench, under the Head of RNA Bio‑foundry
Perform in‑vitro transcription across four modalities, including capping, poly‑A tailing, circularization chemistry, and guide RNA co‑production
Prepare DNA templates and conduct quality control from enzymatic cell‑free synthesis and rolling‑circle amplification processes
Conduct in‑process and release analytics: RNA integrity, capping efficiency, poly‑A length, double‑stranded RNA content, residual DNA, encapsulation efficiency, and particle characterization
Handle modality‑specific starting materials supplied by clinical and pharmaceutical partners, maintaining strict chain of custody
Document the primary data behind the de‑risking report, the nominal end‑to‑end run baseline, and the multi‑modality demonstration datasets
