AJ Chambers are delighted to be working with a leading international law firm seeking a Senior Associate to join its Real Estate Capital Markets practice in Austin, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator with a strong background in commercial foreclosure litigation, receiverships and real estate-related disputes. The successful candidate will have 6-8+ years of commercial litigation experience and the ability to manage complex matters across all stages of litigation. Experience within a large regional, national or international law firm is preferred.
Must Haves:
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Texas Bar admission (required).6-8+ years of commercial litigation experience.
Experience in commercial foreclosure, receiverships and guarantor enforcement litigation.
Experience handling motion practice, discovery (including e-discovery), depositions and courtroom proceedings.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Ability to draft motions and adhere to proper Texas citation formatting.
Strong academic credentials.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and highly organised.
Nice to Have: Experience gained within a large regional, national or international law firm.
Base Salary:

Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in commercial foreclosure litigation.
Handle receivership matters and other real estate litigation disputes.
Manage litigation matters involving commercial foreclosure and guarantor enforcement.
Handle all stages of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, depositions and courtroom proceedings.
Draft motions and other litigation documents.
