What You’ll Do:- Lead membership recruitment, engagement, and retention.* Develop and oversee personal training and wellness programs.* Recruit, train, coach, and supervise membership and personal training staff.* Build relationships with members and create a welcoming, member-focused environment.* Promote YMCA programs, services, and community engagement.* Manage department budgets, schedules, and daily operations.* Model the YMCA mission, values, and SPARK culture.
What We’re Looking For:- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Minimum of 2 years prior experience personal training preferred.* Leadership or staff supervision experience preferred.* Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.* Knowledge of exercise science, fitness assessments, and exercise programming.* Nationally recognized personal training certification (AFAA, ACE, NSCA, NASM, or ACSM Personal Training certification(s).* Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification (required before hire).Why Join the Y?At the YMCA, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children, families, and the entire LeClaire community.
