Construction Quality Assurance Testing Technician or Inspector

Job Responsibilities: Material Testing (Certifications Required) Review approved construction drawings and specificationsCommunicate with contractor workers, foremen, superintendents, project managers, building inspectors and report findingsWrite concise inspection reports using specific language pertaining to contract documents, approved drawings, and any applicable codeCommunicate with AAR office to report inspection observations, scheduling and sample pick up coordinationInspection and verification of materials for compliance to the plans and specificationsAccurately complete quality records relating to material testingReview of contract documentsEnsure that contractors comply with specificationsThe ability to obtain additional certifications to perform in-field material testingAbility to lift up to 50 lbsRequired Knowledge, Experience, and CertificationsACI Field 1 CertificationWAQTC In Place Density CertificationNuclear Gauge CertificationHigh School diploma or equivalentAuthorization to work in the United StatesNo previous experience in the construction industry is requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer skillsValid driver’s license with a clean recordEnergetic, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage a multi-task workloadBenefitsFree Medical, Dental, and Vision for employees.
