Lab Assistant - Respiratory Therapy; Health Professions

The University of North Alabama invites applications for lab assistant (part-time) positions expected to be available during the current term. This position supports the Respiratory Therapy program by assisting in the preparation, demonstration, and supervision of respiratory lab activities. This is a temporary, part-time appointment per semester, with compensation based on a standardized university scale. Lab assistants play a vital role in helping students meet clinical competencies and practice essential respiratory care procedures in a controlled environment. Application for this posting is an application for entrance into an approved Lab Assistant pool from which assistants will be selected based on enrollment and need each semester. Salary is based on the currently-approved standardized university pay scale according to credit/contact hours taught. Bachelor's degree is required; Two years of clinical experience in respiratory care is preferred. LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS: RRT certification, preferred; Current, active, unencumbered Alabama Respiratory Therapist license or multi-state equivalent is required.
