Essential Duties for HVAC Superintendent: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs Deliver the project within the allotted hours and scheduled completion milestones Plan construction processes Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback Plan for inspections Implement safety and quality guidelines Order the appropriate rental equipment for the installation, and arrange for regular maintenance or replacement if required Keep track of the material/orders received on site Submit complete Status Reports weekly Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly Resolve on-site issues and emergencies Able to conduct on-site meetings with GC, subcontractors, and client Requirements for Superintendent: Five years of previous experience as an HVAC superintendent or in a similar roleOSHA 30 certification for construction safety Knowledge of quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites Ability to read and understand installation drawings Certified for forklift/scissor lift/lull operation a plus In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes Proficiency in MS Office Organizational and time-management skills Ability to lead and inspire multiple teams High school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license Must be able to communicate fluently in English Benefits at Jet Industries: Career-building opportunities & growth potential.
