Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster – Contract We are seeking an experienced Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster for a contract opportunity. This individual will manage a caseload of lost-time/indemnity Workers' Compensation claims, including both litigated and non-litigated files, with a strong focus on Arizona claims.
Responsibilities:
Handle Workers' Compensation lost-time/indemnity claims from inception through resolution.
Manage both litigated and non-litigated Workers' Compensation claims.
Investigate claims, evaluate compensability, establish reserves, and develop resolution strategies.
Coordinate with defense counsel, medical providers, employers, injured workers, and other parties throughout the claim lifecycle.
Complete required forms and filings with applicable Workers' Compensation commissions and regulatory agencies.
Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation.
Provide strong customer service to clients, injured workers, and internal partners.
Ensure claims are handled in accordance with applicable state regulations, best practices, and established service standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of Workers' Compensation claims handling experience, with strong Arizona jurisdiction experience.
Active Arizona Workers' Compensation adjuster certification/license required.
Experience handling lost-time/indemnity claims.
Strong experience managing litigated Workers' Compensation claims.
Knowledge of Arizona Workers' Compensation regulations, procedures, and required filings.
Utah Workers' Compensation claims experience is a plus.
Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter or a similar claims management system is helpful.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to independently manage a complex claims inventory.
Schedule: This position follows a hybrid work schedule.
