Colorado Springs, COAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/Shift5x8 hour shifts, starting on 11/30, with split responsibilities between Cheyenne Mountain and Woodland Park, seeing 2 patients per hour.

Job Description: The Physical Therapist will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on the patient's needs and goals, as well as physician direction. This role includes the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring effective functional treatment programs for returning to community activities. The Physical Therapist will serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers while upholding the organization's mission and core values.

Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients. Utilize clinical reasoning to create appropriate treatment plans and goals to progress patients towards discharge. Document medical records in a clear, concise, and timely manner in compliance with regulations. Provide one-on-one care during initial evaluations and safety assessments. Participate in the training and supervision of students, ensuring a positive learning environment. Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to discipline-specific regulations. Contribute to the organization's performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience. CPR Certification required.

Certifications/Licensure: Must maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
