Skilled Trades Specialists is looking for MIG welders that can pass a tee plate test and also have construction experience for a local Fabrication Shop. This is a great long term employment opportunity.
This job requires MIG welding and assembly work. Those with construction experience are encouraged to apply.
Double-Time on Sundays if you work 7 consecutive days!1st and 2nd shift openings available!
Responsibilities:- Assemble parts and components according to blueprints and specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Operate forklift to move materials and finished products within the warehouse
Experience:- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or construction is preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical principles and ability to read blueprints
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
Must Haves:
-Must have ability to read tape measure, level, and square proficiently-Must be a self-starter-Must have reasonable analytical skills
