Project Manager | Heavy Civil Infrastructure | Macon GA or Savannah GAAre you an experienced Project Manager looking to lead large-scale transportation and infrastructure projects? We’re partnering with a well-established contractor seeking a proven leader to oversee heavy civil construction projects including roadway, highway, bridge, and transportation work.
Responsibilities:
Manage projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Lead field teams, Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and overall performance.
Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and production activities.
Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
Monitor costs, productivity, and contract compliance.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders.
Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Qualifications:- 6-10+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
- Strong background managing roadway, bridge, highway, or DOT projects.
- Proven experience overseeing project budgets, schedules, and field operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing self-perform crews and subcontractors.
- Proficiency with project scheduling and cost control.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
