Legislative Counsel & Policy Attorney

Cook County State's Attorney's Office is seeking a Legislative Analyst Attorney to research, draft, review, and analyze the legal and operational impacts of proposed legislation. The role reports to the Director of Legislative Affairs and supports the legislative team. The attorney will coordinate the Legislative Advisory Council, disseminate proposals for review, track feedback, and work with Bureau Chiefs to draft amended statutory language. Occasional hearings in Springfield are expected.
