Evening Maintenance Tech

Location: Sioux Falls, SD | Pay: $22 - $26 per hour, depending on experience

What You'll Bring: High school education or technical training Experience working in a manufacturing environment, performing maintenance duties, is preferred In This Evening Maintenance Tech Role, You'll: Work: The night shift from 2:30 pm - midnight, with overtime opportunities Ensure the smooth operation of machinery by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting issues. Locate the sources of problems using various testing instruments and devices. Adjust functional parts of equipment with hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and other tools. Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen for irregularities to identify potential problems. Dismantle devices to remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools. Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance needs. Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels and placing orders. Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to get the job done efficiently. Provide mechanical maintenance information and prepare detailed reports. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures and regulations.
