Job Description The Weekend Baylor LPN provides nursing care for a mixed rehabilitation and long-term care resident population at The Madison Health and Rehab during scheduled 12-hour weekend shifts. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this role focuses on medication passes, treatments, resident monitoring, and accurate documentation using PointClickCare.$25.50 per hour$ 2.00 shift differential from 3p - 7aWork a 12 hour shift Saturday, 12 hour shift Sunday, receive 6 additional hours Insurance and benefits provided after 60 days
Responsibilities:
Conduct resident assessments and monitor clinical status.
Administer medications during scheduled medication passes.
Deliver prescribed treatments during 12-hour weekend shifts.
Measure and document vital signs.
Complete accurate chart documentation in PointClickCare.
Monitor residents and report clinical changes appropriately.
Collaborate with the nursing and care team.
Required Qualifications:
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Medication administration experience.
Clinical documentation experience.
Vital signs monitoring experience.
Wound care experience.
Electronic health records experience, preferably PointClickCare.
Knowledge of infection control practices.
Patient assessment skills.
Strong communication and time management skills.
