To advance cutting-edge research in drug discovery, the full-time Senior Scientist in Mass Spectrometry will apply advanced mass spectrometry technologies, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop innovative screening approaches while working onsite in San Carlos, CA.
Key responsibilities:
Design and execute mass spectrometry-based studies to support drug discovery and address biological questions
Develop and optimize mass spectrometry workflows, including proteomics and analytical methods
Collaborate with scientists across disciplines to generate insights and enhance analytical capabilitiesRequired qualifications: Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field with relevant industry or academic experience
Strong foundation in mass spectrometry with hands-on experience in operating and optimizing LC-MS instrumentation
Experience in developing mass spectrometry-based analytical and screening workflows
Demonstrated ability to apply mass spectrometry to biological questions and drug discovery
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation of complex mass spectrometry datasets
