We are looking for an experienced Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Inthis role, you will be responsible for operating mechanical and hydraulic stamping pressequipment ranging from 95 Ton to 1000 Ton to produce high-quality parts and meet demand. Your expertise in metal stamping and attention to detail will directly contribute to ourcommitment of excellence to our customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Load and unload metal material into press or laser bed
- Position, align, and secure material against fixtures or stops
- Evaluate part quality using check aids and/or visual inspection
- Ensure proper tagging of finished parts for correct routing and counts
- Keep accurate part and scrap counts, record on data collection system at end of job orshift
- Follow safety rules and ISO requirements
- Maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications:
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to read, count and write
- Visual acuity to inspect highly cosmetic parts.
- Prompt, reliable attendance required.
- Physical Demands • Ability to lift up to 35 LBS, lift twist, grab, stand (up to 8 to 10 hours), walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with orwithout reasonable accommodations
