Job Description:
- Provide quality interpretation between American Sign Language (ASL) and English
- Display wide continuum of language, interpreting, and voicing skills
- Effectively assess the language needs and style of each Deaf consumer
Provide services such as ASL Interpreting, Note-Taking, and Reading at loud services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degreewith anACTIVE Top Secret Clearance with SCIandFluentinSign Language
- Must haveRID/NADissuedNational certification4-7 yearsASL interpretingexperience with minimum 20 hours per week is a MUSTAbility to interpret voice to sign, sign to voice, oral transliteration, and deaf interpretation
- Knowledge of government vernaculars
