Product Manager- Water Safety

About the Role: This is a highly visible, strategic role on our Technical Services Team that owns the Water Safety product line from end to end. The Product Manager serves as the organization's subject matter expert and single point of accountability for product knowledge, vendor relationships, technical support, and field enablement — translating technical complexity into practical guidance that drives results in the field. This is not a client-facing role; it is a field-enabling role. The Product Manager owns the product, while the Water Safety Account Manager owns the client relationship. The measure of success is not how often the Product Manager is in the room — it's how rarely they need to be. You will: Own the Water Safety product portfolio end-to-end, ensuring accurate and complete product files in ERP and CRM systems. Manage strategic vendor relationships, balancing cost, availability, and technical support for the field. Conduct regular product line reviews and lead portfolio updates as market and client needs evolve. Own water safety pricing in collaboration with sales leadership, maintaining margins at or above target. Develop troubleshooting resources, decision guides, and playbooks that reduce escalations and reliance on individual expertise. Coach Field Service Engineers, Business Development Managers, and the Water Safety Account Manager through technical situations, and deliver training on the product portfolio. Own the technical methodology and design standards for Water Management Programs. Partner with Operations on outbreak response protocols and with the Technical Solutions Manager on innovation projects. Own product launches, market research, competitive analysis, and go-to-market strategy for the water safety portfolio. Report to our Palatine, Illinois office as needed while supporting field teams throughout the organization.

What We Offer: Competitive Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience of $100,000-$130,000.

Comprehensive Benefits: Medical and Dental Insurance with generous employer contributions, HSA contributions, 401(k) with company matching, Life Insurance, and much more. Generous Time Off: PTO and paid holidays, including HOH's year-end holiday break. Profit Sharing Bonus: Participate in our company-wide profit-sharing program. Engaging Culture: Caring leaders who invest in people and create meaningful opportunities for growth and connection. Career Growth: Ongoing professional development, technical training, industry education, and leadership development opportunities. You'll Love This Role If...You're technically fluent in water safety. You deeply understand water safety standards, regulations, control measures, engineering, and troubleshooting, and can credibly diagnose problems and train others to do the same. You think like an internal service provider. You measure your success by whether the sales and service team can win and retain business — not by your own visibility or activity. You manage vendors strategically. You balance cost, quality, availability, and performance to make sure the field always has what it needs. You build systems, not tribal knowledge. You create repeatable, documented processes that keep information current, accessible, and usable by the whole team. You're collaborative and available. You work cross-functionally without ego, and you show up — physically or remotely — when the team needs support. You do the hard thing when it matters. You're willing to say what needs to be said, to peers and leadership alike, in service of the greater good.

Product & Vendor Management: Own the water safety product portfolio end-to-end, ensuring accurate and complete product files in ERP and CRM systems. Develop product application documentation that ensures consistent, repeatable program execution across all regions.
