About Us:
We're ClosedWon Talent, a sales and go-to-market recruiting agency that specializes in working with fast-growing startups. If you're exploring your next move, we might have just the opportunity for you, including this one. About our client Our client builds the encryption and payments infrastructure that lets companies collect, process, and route sensitive card data without that data ever touching their own systems. Their customers' PCI compliance scope mostly disappears, which saves roughly $100K in compliance costs and gets them compliant about 95% faster. They tripled revenue last year and are on pace to triple again in 2026. They moved more than $5B in card volume last year and now generate over 100 million encrypted tokens a month across thousands of bank integrations. Their customers include several well-known fintech and payments companies you'd recognize. Earlier this year they closed a $25M Series B led by a top-tier fintech investor, with all of their existing investors re-upping from earlier rounds. The sales org is roughly doubling over the next year and this is the perfect time to join and ride the growth.
About the role:
You'll prospect product and engineering leaders at mid-market and enterprise accounts, mapping org charts and multi-threading across technical and economic stakeholders. Roughly 95% of the pipeline is technical buyers. The BDR team recently proved out its playbook, and outbound meeting quality now beats inbound, which is why they're scaling the team. There is a path to a mid-market AE seat, and the team has moved BDRs into closing roles (two current BDR's are on their way to AE in 2026 which is one reason why they're hiring).
Must-have:- Based in NYC and able to work in office three days a week
- At least 12 months of SDR/BDR experience
- Mid-market or enterprise outbound experience. You've navigated an org chart, worked multiple stakeholders in one account, and know how to get creative to break into key accounts
- Curiosity about how things work. The reps who succeed here dig into why a prospect said no, chase down the answer to a question they couldn't handle on a call, and want to understand their business and industry versus just crank cold calls all day
- Comfortable cold calling and cold emailing, and able to write crisply enough that a technical buyer takes you seriously
- Ownership mindset. The playbook exists but it isn't finished, and you'll be expected to contribute to itIf you don't have technical selling experience, a clear and specific reason for why you want to move in that direction, backed by evidence you've been learning on your own
Nice-to-have
A year or two selling in a technical domain: payments, cyber, database, cloud, developer tools, or API infrastructure
Any exposure to PCI, compliance, or fintech language
Experience with creative outbound: video, events, community-driven plays, or genuinely researched personalization
Familiarity with intent and community signal tools, and comfort working day to day in a modern CRM stack
