Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Encoder Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain digital numbering press equipment, apply MICR toner to printed checks and forms, verify numbering accuracy and print quality, and complete production orders on schedule. No experience is needed.
Responsibilities:
Operate multiple printers and presses to apply MICR toner to printed checks and forms.
Verify that MICR numbers and starting numbers match the specifications for each order.
Pull, void, and place beginning- and end-of-order samples in job jackets.
Print ream labels, apply them to chipboard, and break down orders appropriately.
Place chipboard on the top and bottom of each order.
Maintain an electronic production log documenting all stock used for each order.
Perform minor equipment maintenance as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
