Heiman Fire is looking to hire a Fire Truck Assembler responsible for assembling various parts for the different fire trucks we build.
Responsibilities include:
Position and fasten together custom assemblies related to fire fightingBolt, screw, clip or otherwise fasten custom parts including; mounting steps, handrails, lighting options, cabinetry, or other related itemsInstall custom Fire Truck accessories according to customer specificationsCuts and bends metal trim to specified size and configuration using tools and machinesPerform basic electrical work related to fire fightingSand, grind, or prepare surfacesClean and detail equipment prior to customer inspectionTest equipment used with fire fighting apparatusAdditional duties as assignedQualifications: Previous experience with autobody repair or automotive body shop preferredAssociates Degree in Auto Body repair or related area preferredBasic mechanical aptitudeStrong Mathematical skills
