Description:
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level III NICU position requiring a CA RN license, NRP certification, and at least 3 years of Level III NICU experience. Details Work in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), 4th floor, Vintage Building Unit has 21 beds, flexing up to 37, with 60 total staff Day and night shifts each staffed with 1 charge nurse and 10 nurses Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 depending on acuityEMR systems used are Meditech and CPN12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PMFloating to Postpartum required On-call required at least every other rotation Performs procedures such as line placement and intubations
Requirements:
- Active CA RN license requiredNRP certification required
- Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience required
- Ability to care for infants ranging from Level I to Level III acuity
- Delivery experience preferred
- Postpartum floating experience preferredUS SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Candidates must not have employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months
Additional Information:
- Energetic personality fit preferred for this fast-paced unit
- Purple scrubs required per unit dress code
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- No local candidates will be considered
