Job Description: Precast Concrete Checker

Pay Rate: $30–$45/hour, depending on experience
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Checker with experience in precast concrete drafting, detailing, or drawing review. This role involves reviewing construction and production drawings, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring projects meet contract requirements and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Review erection drawings, piece tickets, contracts, and specifications for accuracy.
Verify dimensions, material quantities, and project details.
Identify discrepancies and recommend solutions to improve constructability and reduce costs.
Ensure drawings and materials are released before scheduled production.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Coordinators, and Schedulers to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in precast concrete drafting, detailing, or checking.
Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.
Strong understanding of construction documents and precast concrete systems.
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
Autodesk certification and knowledge of LecWall systems are a plus.
