APPLY NOW (opens in a new tab)I'm partnered with a global multi-billion-dollar public company located in Chicago seeking a Senior Tax Accounting Manager to focus on global tax accounting. This role is ideal for candidates who: Love all things tax provision Have a global tax accounting background and interest Feel remote working is a huge plus (only 2x per week in-office!)
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for global ASC-740 and international tax provisions (including FTC, GILTI/FDII, worldwide ETR, etc.)Architect the global operating tax model
- Research complex domestic and international tax matters, monitor legislative developments, and communicate the impact of tax changes to leadership and business stakeholders.
- Leverage external support relationships to provide oversight as they drive completion of US, international, and local tax compliance (including consolidated 1120)
- Work cross-functionally on M&A initiatives, tax forecasting, audits, and process improvement efforts
- Drive operational excellence through the use of tax technology, automation solutions, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Role Requirements:
- 8-20+ years of global tax accounting experience
- Background working with or for large publicly traded multi-national companies
- Proficient with either Onesource or Corptax
- Able to work on a hybrid in-office schedule (2x per week onsite)
