Steam Plant OperatorThis person will operate and monitor the Steam Plant from the control room to ensure reliable steam production for district energy network. They will oversee natural gas-fired boilers, monitor steam pressures, temperatures, flows, and equipment performance through plant control systems, respond to alarms and abnormal conditions, and coordinate with field operators and maintenance personnel. They'll assist with plant startups, shutdowns, equipment troubleshooting, and operating adjustments to maintain safe and efficient steam generation while ensuring uninterrupted service to downtown Indianapolis customers.
