Water & Fire Damage Restoration Technician (Property Restoration, Dedicated Client)
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 DOE TEMP TO HIRE
Schedule: Full-time | On call / emergency response may be required
Position Overview:- K&S Staffing Solutions is seeking entry-level
- Water & Fire Damage Restoration Techniciansto support mitigation and recovery efforts on residential and commercial properties. This role focuses on assisting with water extraction, fire damage cleanup, and restoration preparation.
- The Water Damage Restoration Technician is responsible for taking a leadership role in projects from cleanup and demo to assisting in, when required, rebuild of structures damaged by water, smoke, mold, fire, and biohazard incidents
- Positions are local to Bay, Walton, Okaloosa and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist withwater extraction, drying, and cleanup
- Supportfire damage restoration, including soot and debris removal
- Set up and monitordrying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers)
- Performdemolition of damaged materials(drywall, flooring, insulation)
- Maintain containment areas and assist withbasic mold remediation support
- Follow allsafety protocols, PPE requirements, and site procedures
- Work under supervision of lead technicians and project managersIICRC Certification in Water, Mold, Fire/Smoke/Odor
Requirements:- Construction, restoration, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to work inphysically demanding environments
- Comfortable working inconfined spaces and varying conditions
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift50+ lbs.
