About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Sourcing Specialist to support purchasing, material planning, inventory management, and strategic sourcing activities within a manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with production and supply chain teams to ensure timely material availability.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage purchasing of MRO, inventory materials, hardware, and consumables.
- Create and manage purchase orders using SAP/MRP systems and support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities.
- Plan, schedule, track, and expedite materials based on production requirements.
- Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Support inventory planning, minimum stock levels, BOMs, and production schedules.
- Drive strategic sourcing initiatives focused on cost, quality, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, material planning, inventory, or production control.
- Strong Procure-to-Pay (P2P) experience.
- Experience with SAP, particularly MM, PP, and/or FI/CO.
- Strong procurement and sourcing experience.
- Experience with MRP/inventory systems and supplier management.
- Pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- APICS or purchasing-related certification preferred.
