Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our flooring warehouse team. This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, pulling, staging, and loading flooring materials for customer orders, deliveries, and installation projects.
What You’ll Do:
Receive, unload, inspect, and organize flooring materials and supplies.
Pull, verify, and stage customer and installer orders.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Move boxes, rolls, pallets, and other heavy flooring materials.
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts when authorized.
Verify product quantities, sizes, colors, and specifications against work orders.
Maintain accurate inventory and report damaged, missing, or incorrect products.
Assist with loading non-CDL box trucks and cargo vans for deliveries as needed.
Help secure products properly for transportation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
Follow company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
Provide professional service to customers, contractors, and installation crews.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous warehouse, flooring, construction, or material-handling experience preferred.
Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials throughout the workday.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to read basic work orders, labels, and inventory information.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Forklift experience/certification is a plus.
Valid driver’s license required if performing delivery duties.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy flooring products.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise.
Ability to perform repetitive material-handling tasks safely.
