Position:
Aloha POS Engineer Compensation: $ 35 - 45 /hour, depending on experience Location: Full Remote Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Aloha POS Engineer to join their team! This is a strong opportunity for a technically minded support professional who enjoys solving complex POS challenges, improving restaurant technology performance, and keeping critical systems running smoothly. In this contract role, you’ll work across hardware, software, payments, integrations, and support processes to make a direct impact on day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Provide remote support for POS system issues and outagesInvestigate root causes and resolve recurring technical problemsSupport NCR payments and PCI-compliant payment setupsInstall and maintain POS servers, terminals, and printersManage item, price, and database updatesReconcile POS and reporting data discrepanciesSupport loyalty, delivery, and catering platform integrationsCreate documentation and knowledge base articlesTest system changes in lab, QA, and UAT environmentsAssist with Windows imaging for BOH, FOH, and KDS systems Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience 4+ years in IT support or IT project roles 2+ years working with Aloha POS and related toolsExperience with restaurant technology environmentsKnowledge of payment processing and payment architectureAbility to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issuesStrong communication and documentation skillsExperience supporting technical issues in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Exposure to loyalty or delivery integrationsExperience supporting kitchen display systemsBackground in hospitality technology Perks & Benefits:3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insuranceVoluntary, Short-term and Long-term disability insurancePaid time off, 401k, and holiday payWeekly direct deposit or pay card deposit Other Information: Full remote roleOn-call support may be required If you are interested in learning more about the Aloha POS Engineer opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
