Exceptional Part-Time Orthodontist Opportunity in a Fast-Growing Pediatric Practice Tooth Haven Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a communicative and experienced Orthodontist to join our enthusiastic team in Ankeny, IA. This is a unique part-time opportunity to provide high-quality orthodontic care to a growing patient base of children and adolescents in a modern, supportive setting. Tooth Haven Pediatric Dentistry is a vibrant, newly established private practice in Ankeny, IA. In just a short time, we have become a favorite in the community by providing a playful, welcoming environment paired with excellent clinical care. Our office features a basketball court, interactive play spaces, and the latest dental technology to ensure kids and families have a positive experience at every visit. We are dedicated to innovative, patient-centered care and fostering a team culture that is friendly, collaborative, and growth-oriented. Pay$187~$200 per hour
Salary Details:
  • Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
  • Competitive per diem: $1,500 per day plus $100 for each orthodontic start

Requirements:
  • Licensed dentist
  • Orthodontic ResidencyDDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
  • Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program
  • Current Iowa dental license (or eligibility for licensure in Iowa)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered, quality care
Job Description:
  • Provide comprehensive orthodontic evaluations and treatments for pediatric and adolescent patients (ages 7–18)
  • Develop and monitor individualized orthodontic treatment plans
  • Consult and collaborate with the on-site pediatric dental team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families about treatment options, oral health, and appliance care
  • Maintain accurate, thorough clinical documentation using digital dental software
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a cohesive, positive practice culture
