Assistant Manufacturing Manager

Key Responsibilities: Assist the Manufacturing Manager in supervising and coordinating daily production operationsMonitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of productsHelp maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policiesSupport staff training and provide guidance to production team members as neededTrack and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as output, downtime, and efficiencyIdentify areas for process improvement and contribute to lean manufacturing initiativesEnsure equipment is functioning properly; report and follow up on maintenance needsCollaborate with other departments including Quality Control, Logistics, and InventoryAssist with staffing schedules and shift planning as requiredFill in for the Manufacturing Manager during absences or as assignedQualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, operations management, engineering, or related field preferred2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment; prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plusStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control standardsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to lead by example and support a team in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is a plusBilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
