Job Description:
Engineered Steel Products (ESP), a New Page Capital Company, is a North Carolina based steel fabrication company providing structural and miscellaneous steel for the construction industry. Engineered Steel’s vision is to provide world-class customer service and steel to customers. We are hiring a Band Saw Operator in our processing area on a full-time basis to work onsite in Sophia, NC.
Responsibilities:
Operate Band Saw, Drill Line, Angle Line, and Plasma TableCut and process steel to job specs and drawingsMeasure and verify parts for accuracySet up machines correctly and run jobs efficientlyPerform daily equipment maintenance (greasing/oiling) Keep your work area clean and organizedWork closely with the Shop Foreman and Plant ManagerRequirements: Knowledge of structural steel shapes and sizesComfortable working with machineryCan read a tape measure (accurately to the 1/16 of an inch) Experience operating an overhead craneOrganized, dependable, and detail-orientedAble to work with minimal supervisionStrong focus on safety and quality workEngineered Steel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
