Our partner is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive the development of next-generation precision sensor and instrumentation technologies used across defense, aerospace, marine, fuel quality, and industrial applications. This is a highly autonomous leadership role for an experienced engineer who can combine technical expertise, product strategy, customer engagement, and team leadership to turn complex customer challenges into innovative commercial products.
Key Requirements:
8+ years of engineering and product development experience. Strong background in physical sensors, instrumentation, and electronics. Expertise in one or more of: Temperature measurement Pressure/depth sensing Electrical conductivity measurement Industrial process instrumentation Precision measurement systems Embedded systems & microprocessors Experience developing products from concept through commercialization. Experience leading engineering teams and multidisciplinary product development programs. Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to understand technical challenges and develop practical engineering solutions. Product management experience with ownership of product roadmap, requirements, and delivery. Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to make key technical and commercial decisions. Spectroscopy, optics, or optical sensing technologies. Telemetry, remote monitoring, or data communications systems. Fuel quality measurement, ASTM testing methodologies, or fluid analysis systems. Military, aerospace, marine, oceanographic, or industrial instrumentation applications. Reliability engineering and high-performance sensing systems.
