Job Summary:
K&S Staffing Solutions is hiring a
Fireplace Technician Apprentice / Technician Assistant
to support experienced technicians in the installation, service, and maintenance of fireplace systems. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in a skilled trade with hands-on training.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with installation and servicing of gas, electric, and wood-burning fireplaces
Support venting system setup and inspections
Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment
Prepare job sites and maintain clean, safe work areas
Follow technician instructions during service calls and installs
Perform basic troubleshooting support and maintenance tasks
Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in varying conditions
Mechanically inclined with willingness to learn
Reliable transportation to job sites
Strong work ethic and team mindset
Preferred Qualifications: Construction or mechanical experience (preferred, not required)
Basic hand/power tool knowledge
