Medical Laboratory Scientist
Job Description:
The Laboratory at Baptist Health Louisville acts as the core laboratory for the Baptist Health system performing testing for both inpatients and outpatients. This fast-paced, busy automated Laboratory has the capacity to perform a full range of tests while maintaining a short turnaround time for our patients. The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs testing in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology. This is an outstanding opportunity for individuals who like a busy laboratory and an opportunity to learn and grow in the field. Newly graduated Med Tech Laboratory students are welcome to apply.
Knowledge, education, experience:
- Bachelor degree in in Medical Laboratory Sciences or an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent required.
- Must become certified within one year of hire.
- Previous work experience in high complexity testing preferred.
- Mixed 2nd and 3rd shift, 3 days a week, 3pm- 4:30 am, Every 3rd weekend$20,000 Sign on Bonus for Experienced Candidates
